We all know the FIFA World Cup is on this year in Russia, but next year, the Rugby World Cup is on in Japan!
The Blossoms (the national rugby side of Japan) will have the weight of a nation on them as they host the other powerhouse nations in the pinnacle of rugby tournaments.
Pocket Sports Rugby continues to be one of our best sellers and no doubt next year, it'll be literally be the flavour of the month......that flavour washed down with a chilled Asahi beer and a plate of Gyoza would be even better!
The 4th iteration of the game, unfortunately saw us lose the team cards. Price for distribution versus production was the main reason, but it also saw the reintroduction of the game pouch, which everybody wanted, at the pouch game price too!
So will there be anything new for the RWC2019?
Quite possibly there already is something that exists.....
On the BGG game listing, there's a PDF of 20 team cards. It's a hidden gem for those who already have this game. A kind fellow and fan of Pocket Sports put a lot of work into adding these files and has some expansion World Cup rules.
